How VoicePay works
VoicePay is a comprehensive payment processing service that can handle all of your businesses’ payment needs - whether that is handling payments from your online store, from customers calling in direct to place orders or uniquely by allowing your customers to purchase products from their mobile phones using only their voices.
Our online card processing services accept Visa, MasterCard, Visa Debit, Visa Delta, Solo, Switch and Maestro cards. We have designed a secure and simple to use processing interface that is easy to integrate with your existing online shop. We can even host the actual transaction processing pages on our secure servers for you and then redirect your customers back to your site after the transaction has been completed.
In addition to ‘traditional’ card processing services you can also utilize our VoicePay voice signature payment services and gain access to the fast growing family of VoicePay wallet accountholders. We have spent over 5 years developing the VoicePay technology and we believe it will revolutionize the way cardholder-not-present transactions are processed.
When customers register to create a VoicePay account we call them and record samples of their voices and from those create a unique ‘voiceprint’. When a VoicePay accountholder makes an online purchase they need not enter any card details, they simply have to enter their VoicePay account number. We will then call them using our automated outbound IVR systems and ask them to repeat a phrase. We use that sample to match against their voiceprint and if a match is achieved we authorize the transaction.
In tests our voice signature technology has proved extremely reliable and we expect to successfully match voices 99.6% of the time. Because the technology is so much more secure than entering credit card details online we are able to process payments through VoicePay accounts for significantly lower fees.
We also offer the VoicePay Mobile m-commerce solution as a means to widen your businesses’ sales distribution and to directly monetize existing advertising spend. With VoicePay Mobile you can purchase unique product codes which you can display next to products in print ads, signage or TV ads. Customers seeing the product codes can call into the VoicePay Mobile freephone number for their country, enter the product code and ‘voicesign’ for the product using only their mobile phone. We will then send you a secure callback online confirming the details of the transaction in the same way we would for an ecommerce transaction.
